Etisalat's Business Unit eCompany Entered An Alliance with Microsoft
Dubai: Etisalat's business unit eCompany has entered an alliance with Microsoft to roll-out integrated market specific solutions across the region.
Under the terms of the arrangement eCompany and Microsoft will offer a seamless experience for customers in terms of user convenience, not only in the UAE but in the entire region.
"This alliance will be a winning one for our customers in enabling technology to be a key driver of growth in a cost effective manner. The eCompany broad portfolio will complement the technology and leadership of a global player like Microsoft for the mutual benefit of our customers in government and private sectors," said Ahmad Abdul Karim Julfar, general manager of eCompany.
Microsoft will also undertake to develop a comprehensive and competitive licensing scheme for eCompany, which will run the gamut of Microsoft software commercial licensing for their customers.
The two will also develop special programmes that address the needs of national governments. From a technology transfer perspective, both will work on a joint business and technology review to be conducted through joint workshops.
